Congratulation to Blitz U16 Boys for winning the . Blitz Boca Jrs. played 5 games in less than 24 hours and only allowed 2 goals. Magic (U15 Boys) were finialist in there age group losing in overtime.

Congratulation! Blitz sent U16 Boys and Girls to 2008 MAPS/MSSL Summer Showcase at Ft. Dix NJ on August 3 and they both WON! The boys weren’t scored on AGAIN!
Boca has only been scored on once in 21 games! They have not lost a game since June 1st.

Boca Jrs. won the Oneonta Premier division tournament also..not giving up a goal the entire weekend. Hats off to Boca.

Magic won the Oneonta Premier division tournament.... they did a terrific job winning 4 games, losing none....credit goes to Coach Nunn for having these kids play great all weekend.

Congratulations to Samba Beat and Boca Jrs. (boys U15) for a GREAT job at the Baltimore March Madness Premier Tournament. Both teams got to the finals without a loss. Samba won their final 1 to 0 and Boca lost in a heart-breaking PK shoot-out.

The Syracuse Blitz FC will be conducting tryouts for the U13 Girls Barcelona premier team on Mondays from 5:45pm - 7:00pm
and Saturdays from 1:15pm - 2:30pm at SISC on Hopkins Rd.
Players must be born after 8/1/94 and should be serious about soccer.
All positions are needed including goalie.
Tryouts are also available for U15 girls and U12 - U16 Boys Teams.

Congratulations Samba Beat for taking first place in the Spirit United Kickoff Classic held in Downingtown, PA. The team competed in the Elite Division and earned Gold Points. They went undefeated scoring 18 goals and allowing 1.

Congratulations Samba Beat for participating in the US Club Soccer National Cup Finals. The team placed 3rd out of 6. The 1st and 2nd place teams were both from California. Samba Beat took 3rd place over YMS and St. Louis by having the best record of goals scored against them. This was a fantastic experience for the team, the fields were exceptional and the competition was great. The team plans to participate again next year.

Another great weekend for Syracuse Blitz. Boca Jrs. (U14 Boys) win 2007 Salt City tournament. They won all 5 games (3 shutouts) with 23 goals for and 4 against.
Tsunami deserves congratulations for becoming finalist at the 2007 Salt City tournament. The girls played hard and won all fours games to get to the finals.

Congratulations Magic for taking 2nd place in the US Club regional in Pittsgrove, NJ. Magic won 3 games qualifying them for the finals. They played the New Jersey Gunners ( the #2 U13 Boys team in the Nation) in the finals and lost a tough match.

Congratulations to Boca Jrs. for winning the US Youth Soccer 2007 State Cup! Maine here you come!
Boca won 2 games and tied the third letting only one goal in all weekend. Buffalo United Elite 2-0, Greece Cobras 1-1 and Rochester Rhinos 2-0.

Boca Jrs. were finalists at the Region A US Club Soccer 2007 National Cup losing in a heart breaking PK shootout.
The team won all their games during bracket play against top regional opponents, Inter Bandits SC Boston (MA) 3-1, Ottawa Fury (CND) 2-0 and White Plains (NYE) 1-0. The championship game against White Plains (NYE) went into double overtime with the teams tied 1-1 after regulation. The teams then went through a Penality Kick shootout with the winner guaranteed a spot in the US Club National Tournament held in North Carolina. Unfortunately for the Blitz team they lost in the shootout.

And the Beat Goes On! Congratulations Samba Beat for winning the US Club Soccer National Cup Regionals in Lagrangeville, NY over Memorial Weekend. Samba Beat is headed for Burlington, NC in late July for the Finals and will represent Region A in the U12B Super Group division. Some of the teams they will play are Portugese SE and Irvine Strikers, both from California and the YMS Celtics from Phil.PA. Good Luck Samba Beat!

Congratulations to Blitz for a great showing at the Glastonbury CT Spring Warm-Up Tournament. Magic won their division and Boca Jrs. got 2nd place in their's. Neither team lost game all weekend.
Magic won all their matches and Boca only give up 2 goals in 4 games. Great job teams!

Bally Total Fitness Strength Training - Session 2 to begin in April
Bally Total Fitness and the Syracuse Blitz work together to offer a Strength, Speed and Agility training program.....geared specific to the young soccer player.
The program was introduced during our second session and includes strength, speed, agility, flexibility, safety, rest and nutrition. The program consists of 2 weekly classes: Monday-lower body Thursday-upper body. The Monday session will be extended to include Speed and Agility training: mechanics of running, running with resistance and agility(cones, mini hurdles, obstacle courses, etc.)
The new session begins the week of April 2nd. Classes will continue to be Mondays and Thursdays......the choice of times being 3:30pm or 7:00pm (depending on the number of kids signing up). The cost will remain $150 for the 10 week session (2 classes per week).

Congratulations to Boca Jrs. our U14 Boys team, for winning the 11 v 11 indoor tournament in Binghamton, NY! Boca scored 12 goals, never giving up a goal all weekend. Boca beat CNY United in the finals.

Congratulations to our new U12 Boys team, Samba Beat, for a great victory at the YMS Columbus Cup Tournament that was held in Yardley, PA, Columbus Day weekend. With only 12 players the team played 4 hard fought games before advancing to the finals.
